Session Abstract: 2025 Employee Retention Survey (ERS), this session benchmarks institutional research (IR) against other departments and 2023 results, covers key predictors of retention (job satisfaction/belonging, flexibility, workload, and pay perceptions), examines misalignment between preferred and actual work arrangements and the role of supervisor supports, and translates the data into practical, measurable strategies and metrics. Attendees will be able to identify higher-risk segments in their IR workforce, select 2–3 targeted interventions suited to their context, and outline a simple monitoring plan with clear metrics and cadence.
