Session Abstract: As the landscape of higher education evolves, so too do the roles and skills required of professionals leading accreditation, quality assurance, and institutional effectiveness efforts. This poster session explores how job responsibilities and qualifications compare across a global sampling of accreditation liaison job descriptions using data from CHEA. Using thematic analysis, this study highlights key competencies. Attendees will gain an understanding of the evolving expectations for positions working within accreditation, quality assurance, and institutional effectiveness, along with key findings that highlight the future direction of the field.
