Session Abstract: Institutional researchers support decision making by presenting data that improve student success and strengthen institutional effectiveness. Achieving student success requires both rigorous analysis and clear communication. This poster introduces an interactive model that integrates R for statistical analysis with Power BI (PBI) for dynamic visualization. Combining R’s rigor with PBI’s dashboards, the model visualizes regression results and lets users explore subgroups of interest. While PBI provides automated, customizable displays, it lacks advanced statistics such as correlation, regression, or ANOVA. Integrating R fills this gap, delivering robust analytics in an accessible platform. The poster will instruct participants on connecting R with PBI to conduct statistical analysis. It highlights five key areas—interactivity, visualization, specificity, automation, and analytics—that together foster evidence-based decision making, and improved outcomes for students and institutions.
