Session Abstract: Higher education institutions are moving from experimental AI use to systematic implementation across operations. This session presents a case study of using AI as a strategic planning partner for a complex general education assessment project at a large public institution.
The presenter will share how AI was used to tackle a comprehensive curriculum overhaul, including mapping over 90 learning objectives to 11 manageable outcomes, developing assessment frameworks, and creating stakeholder communication strategies. Attendees will see how AI collaboration transformed preliminary ideas into comprehensive proposals, resulting in more effective meetings and successful stakeholder buy-in.
Participants will learn practical approaches for integrating AI into their own complex planning projects and understand how to adapt these strategies to their institutional contexts.
