Cody Orr is an economist with the Center for Economic Studies at the U.S. Census Bureau. His primary responsibility is producing and developing the Post-Secondary Employment Outcomes data product. Cody's research interests fall within the intersection of labor economics and the economics of education. His current work involves estimating the effects of Generative Artificial Intelligence on college students, measuring the business formation rates of college graduates, quantifying how the determinants of college major choice have changed over time, and modeling how students fund their college education. Cody received his PhD in Economics from Michigan State University and Bachelor's in Business Administration from Baylor University.
