Ethan Christmas is a Data Scientist at the University of Georgia Carl Vinson Institute of Government. Mr. Christmas focuses on helping state and local governments use data, analytics, and emerging technologies to improve data-informed decision making. Mr. Christmas builds interactive data dashboards, develops machine learning models, and supports analytics projects for government clients. He also teaches technical classes in business intelligence and generative artificial intelligence, helping public-sector professionals strengthen their data skills and apply new tools in practical, responsible ways. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and is currently pursuing his Master of Science in Applied Data Science, both from the University of Georgia.
