Ivana is a nationally engaged higher education data strategist and the inaugural Chief Data Officer at Weber State University (WSU). Since joining WSU in 2023, she has led the development of an integrated data and analytics ecosystem, aligning institutional capabilities with strategic priorities and measurable student success outcomes. Her work ensures that faculty, staff, and leaders have the insights needed to effectively support students.
With over a decade of experience in institutional research and analytics, including leadership roles at Miami Dade College and Barry University, Ivana brings deep expertise in analytics, data governance, and data literacy. She has established cross-functional data governance frameworks and scaled campus-wide data and AI literacy initiatives to strengthen institutional capacity. Ivana serves in national leadership roles on the Association for Institutional Research (AIR) Board of Directors and within EDUCAUSE’s Data Governance Community and Nominations and Leadership Development Committee. Her work advances responsible data governance, data and AI readiness, and a strong data culture across higher education.
