Katie serves as the Assistant Director of Student Success Analytics in Institutional Research and Planning at The Ohio State University. Since beginning her work in statistics and data analytics in 2019, she has developed a strong foundation in quantitative research and a commitment to advancing student success through data-informed decision-making. Katie began her career journey in 2014 teaching high school mathematics before pursuing an MS in Applied Statistics at Ohio State, where she also lectured undergraduate statistics courses. Her passion for both education and data continues to shape her work and perspective.
In her current role, Katie leads the development of a comprehensive student success analytics function, leveraging statistical modeling, mixed methods research, and integrated data systems to generate actionable insights. She collaborates with executive leadership, faculty, and cross-functional partners to design and implement innovative analytical approaches that support institutional priorities and improve student outcomes. Katie also mentors a team of analysts and promotes data accessibility, transparency, and effective data storytelling to drive strategic decision-making across the university.
