Dr. Marissa Green-Francescon is the Assistant Director of Institutional Research and Assessment at the University of Iowa. In this role, she partners with campus stakeholders to provide actionable insights into undergraduate student composition, experiences, and success. Her work integrates quantitative and qualitative approaches to help academic programs identify and prioritize factors that enhance student outcomes and inform strategic decision-making.
In addition to her analytical work, Dr. Green-Francescon supports campus-wide survey development and data collection efforts, contributing to a culture of evidence-based practice. She is also actively engaged in institutional committees that advance the university’s strategic priorities.
Dr. Green-Francescon earned her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from The Ohio State University in August 2020. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys figure skating and playing the violin.
