Dr. Wenjun Chi serves as the Director of Institutional Research at Delaware County Community College (DCCC), where she oversees institutional reporting, data governance, analytics implementation, and strategic decision-support initiatives. With over 18 years of experience in institutional research, accreditation, and program review, Dr. Chi has led numerous data-informed initiatives designed to improve institutional effectiveness, student success, and evidence-based planning across higher education. At DCCC, she manages the implementation and expansion of the ZogoTech analytics platform, supporting enhanced data accessibility, cross-campus collaboration, and data-driven decision-making throughout the institution.
Dr. Chi recently earned her Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University, where her capstone research focused on the role of academic advising in student retention at community colleges. Her capstone project was recognized with the Outstanding Capstone Project Award for the Ed.D. program, highlighting the impact of her research on advising practice, institutional systems, and student success initiatives.
Dr. Chi has presented at several prominent higher education conferences, including the AIR Forum, the Drexel Annual Conference on Teaching and Learning Assessment, and the Middle States Commission on Higher Education Annual Conference. Her presentations have explored topics such as analytics implementation, assessment transformation, institutional planning, online learning challenges, and strategies for engaging stakeholders in data-informed decision-making. She has also collaborated on presentations focused on student retention, advising systems, and institutional improvement efforts at community colleges.
In her consulting role with IERConsulting.com, Dr. Chi provides strategic support to colleges and universities in areas including institutional effectiveness, data analytics, accreditation, and evidence-based decision-making. She has led faculty and staff training initiatives on analytics tools, reporting systems, and student success practices, helping institutions build stronger cultures of inquiry, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
