Trent Kennedy is a Senior Institutional Research Analyst at Georgetown University. Based in Washington, DC, he serves as lead analyst for both the Georgetown University Law Center and Georgetown University in Qatar, including leadership of internal analytics, survey administration, and annual reporting to the American Bar Association (ABA) and Qatar Foundation.
Trent earned his J.D. from the University of Minnesota, his M.A. in Student Personnel Services from Northwestern State University, and his B.A. in Higher Education Administration from Hampshire College. He currently serves on the ABA Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar Advisory Group on Data Collection and has previously chaired the Association of American Law Schools (AALS) sections on Student Services and Empirical Study of Legal Education and the Legal Profession.
His research areas include statistical disclosure limitation strategies, information design, and the use of professional standards across functional areas. At smaller conferences, he is known to give out data culture stickers.
