Dr. Yuan-Chih Fu currently serves as Director of the Graduate Institute of Technical and Vocational Education at the esteemed National Taipei University of Technology (Taipei Tech), where he is also an Associate Professor. His academic focus centers on exploring the profound impact of educational policy on individuals, higher education institutions, and broader society, specializing in policy evaluation and quantitative research methodologies.
As a Computational Institutional Scholar of Higher Education, Dr. Fu employs data science, simulation, and artificial intelligence to reveal how institutions adapt under demographic and technological transitions. His research bridges policy analysis, institutional behavior, and computational modeling, offering innovative perspectives on how evidence-based policymaking can enhance educational equity and system resilience.
Dr. Fu has contributed significantly to his field, with publications in prestigious international journals and presentations at numerous international conferences. From Fall 2023 to Fall 2025, he served as Deputy Dean for the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Taipei Tech, and since Fall 2024, he has also served as Secretary-General of the Taiwan Association for Institutional Research (Taiwan-AIR). Through these leadership roles, he has played a pivotal part in advancing institutional research capacity, fostering academic collaboration, and shaping higher education policy both in Taiwan and internationally.
