Alison Preston is the Director of Institutional Research in the Office of Planning & Institutional Effectiveness at Hagerstown Community College, located in western Maryland. In this role, she oversees institutional reporting efforts, supports internal data and assessment needs, and leads data literacy programs on campus. Over the past few years in this role, she has worked to optimize inter-departmental relationships in order to improve data culture and communication on campus, and has learned the value in a strong IR/IE support network both within and beyond the institution.
