Chiung-Ya Tang, Ph.D. holds a doctoral degree in Child Development and Family Studies and a Graduate Certificate in Gerontology from Purdue University. She also completed a Certificate in Data Mining at the University of Central Florida (UCF). She currently serves as a Data Scientist II at UCF, supporting institutional analytics initiatives and research efforts.

Chiung-Ya Tang is an experienced researcher whose work spans diverse methodological approaches to complex social science questions. At UCF, her contributions include retention prediction modeling, student risk factor analysis, equity studies on faculty salaries, and hypothesis-driven evaluations of student outcomes.
