Rizwanur Rob is the Assistant Director in the Office of Institutional Research and Assessment at Suffolk University in Boston, where he focuses on program-level financial analysis, FVT/GE and federal policy research, and promoting a culture of data-driven decision making throughout the institution. His work spans causal inference and regeression analysis, predictive analytics, data visualization, and communicating complex analysis to leadership and academic units, coordinating with external data partners, and supervising and mentoring graduate assistants.
An applied economist by training, his research leans heavily into causal inference methods, labor economics and industrial organization. Prior to his four years in Institutional Research at Suffolk, Rizwan was an adjunct teaching Principles of Micro and Macro at Northeastern while an ABD, in the Economics PhD program.
