Kavya Mariboyina is the Director of Institutional Effectiveness at Little Priest Tribal College (LPTC), where she leads institutional research, data governance, strategic planning, and student success analytics. With over seven years of experience in higher education, she specializes in equity-centered data practices, predictive analytics, and transforming institutional data into actionable insights.
Kavya has been instrumental in building LPTC’s Institutional Research and Effectiveness infrastructure, developing KPI frameworks, Tableau dashboards, and data governance systems that support data-informed decision-making across the college. Her work focuses on improving student outcomes, particularly for Tribal and underrepresented populations, through innovative approaches such as redefining graduation metrics using Key Equity Indicators (KEIs).
She actively contributes to national research and data initiatives, including collaborations with Achieving the Dream, AIHEC, the Gates Foundation and a Fellow in the SDP Program at Harvard University and a member of the Postsecondary Data for Action Network (PDAN) with IHEP and AIR. Kavya is also a peer reviewer for AERA and a frequent presenter at national conferences, where she shares insights on data storytelling, equity metrics, and student success strategies.
