Simona Mitevska is a Senior Research Analyst at the University of Maine with expertise in econometrics, institutional reporting, and advanced data visualization. She develops and manages high-visibility dashboards used by senior leadership, deans, faculty, and administrators to monitor enrollment, retention, and other key institutional metrics.
Her work focuses on designing dashboards that are accurate, intuitive, and actionable for a wide range of campus stakeholders. Together with Lisa Applegate, Simona manages the University of Maine’s suite of institutional dashboards, including both public-facing and internal tools, and has co-led campus-wide trainings and workshops to strengthen data literacy and support dashboard adoption.
Simona has presented her work at the Northeast Association for Institutional Research, including sessions on study abroad participation factors and academic unit-level enrollment and revenue forecasting. She was also recognized as one of three recipients of NEAIR’s Memorial Conference Grant for her forecasting work.
