James Anderson is the Director of Institutional Effectiveness at Kaskaskia College, where he leads data-driven initiatives to support strategic planning and decision-making. His work focuses on developing key performance indicators, building data pipelines, and creating dashboards using R, Python, SQL, and Power BI.
Previously, he served as a Research Analyst at John A. Logan Community College, where he developed predictive models and supported institutional research efforts. In addition to his administrative work, James has taught statistics and mathematics at multiple institutions, including Bryan University and Grand Canyon University.
He is currently completing his PhD in Agricultural Science at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. His research interests include predictive analytics, student retention, and data-informed decision-making in higher education.
