Christina Kraines is a Business Intelligence Specialist at Tarrant County College, where she blends deep technical expertise with a passion for human centered data storytelling. She holds a bachelor’s degree in biomedical science from Texas A&M University and a master’s degree in information systems from Tarleton State University, bringing a multidisciplinary perspective to institutional research and analytics.
Her professional experience spans data analysis, data modeling, and process improvement across multiple industries, enabling her to translate complex data systems into insights that are meaningful and actionable for diverse stakeholders. At Tarrant County College, Christina plays a key role in developing and maintaining the IR Data Hub, a suite of Power BI dashboards that support data informed decision making across the institution.
Known by colleagues as the “Power BI Guru,” she facilitates training sessions and consultations to build data confidence and literacy among faculty and staff. Christina is deeply committed to fostering an accessible, transparent, and equitable data culture in higher education that centers people, context, and impact. She believes that data, when used thoughtfully, can amplify voices that are often unheard and support more inclusive, informed decision making.
