Allyson Meyers is a Sr. Research Analyst for the Office of Institutional Reseasrch and Planning (OIRP) at Portland State University (PSU). Her OIRP duties include reporting for National Ranking Organizations, institutional profile data, IPEDS reporting, survey management/analysis, various ad-hoc reporting, and serving on instiutional committees/advisory boards.
In addition to her OIRP duties, Allyson serves on the PSU AAPI-Employee Resource Group Leadership Team, the PSU Campus Recreation Advisory Board, and is currently President of the Pacific Northwest Association for Institutional Research and Planning (PNAIRP), an AIR affiliated organization. In November of 2026, Allyson will transition from her role as PNAIRP's President to the role of Past-President, which will serve as her final year of a three-year Presidential Track.
Her educational background includes a Master of Science in Statistics from PSU, a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from PSU, and an Associate of Arts from Lower Columbia College. A strong passion for data, education, and the art of data storytelling is what keeps Allyson excited about the future of institutional research and higher education. She is excited to continue her own educational journey this fall, at Oregon State University where she plans to pursue a Doctorate of Education in Adult & Higher Education.
When she's not at work, Allyson enjoys many hobbies, some more adventurous than others, but her favorites include: crafting, cooking, reading, gardening, traveling with her significant other, and chilling at home with her two black kitties (Salem & Scoop).
