Data Governance Journeys, from Chaos to Control - Lessons Along the Way

Session Abstract: The process of data governance at each institution travels along a continuum. IR offices are experiencing various stages of success (or failure) at advancing data governance at their respective institutions. Experienced IR professionals from three distinct universities will share their institutions place on the data governance continuum and lessons learned along the way.

This session will explore collaborating with stakeholders, building momentum, championing change, and a touch of wrangling AI. Attendees will gain valuable insights into the data governance process and learn practical tips for harnessing data as a strategic asset for their institution.
