Dr. Brandon Nzekwe serves as the Executive Director of Planning, Institutional Effectiveness, and Research (PIR) at the College of Southern Maryland. With over a decade of experience across two-year and four-year institutions, he has held diverse leadership and analytical roles dedicated to advancing the institutional mission through data. Brandon earned his Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from Florida State University, specializing in Learning and Cognition as well as Measurement and Statistics.
His current work focuses on fostering collaborative intelligence by integrating multi-source institutional data to drive actionable insights. By spearheading the College's data democratization efforts, Dr. Nzekwe aims to ensure that analytics are accessible and used diagnostically to improve student success outcomes. He views institutional research and effectiveness as essential cornerstones of organizational progress, continuous improvement, and long-term sustainability.
