Dr. Kirby Livingston is a higher education professional with experience across functions including career development, teaching, assessment, and institutional research & analysis. Since he began his doctoral program in Educational Leadership & Policy Analysis at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Kirby has specialized in assessment, especially survey design and analysis. In his current role as a Data Strategy & Institutional Research Manager at Carnegie Mellon University, he focuses his assessment efforts on measuring and enhancing the student experience at the Tepper School of Business, while also managing critical functions related to rankings, accreditation, and external reporting. Furthermore, Kirby is a thought leader in AI adoption and integration within institutional research, developing practical workflows that leverage generative AI to build capacity and drive data-informed decision-making.
