Christa A. Smith is the Executive Director of the Strategic Analysis, Research, and Reporting office at Washburn University. Smith has more than 20 years of experience with research and evaluation in higher education. Smith has been the Research Analyst for two multimillion dollar US Department of Labor Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training (TAACCCT) grant projects. Prior, Smith was a Research Associate/Evaluator at an evaluation center at Kansas State University. Smith’s interests in research and program evaluation are in examining the educational barriers for traditionally underrepresented groups. Smith has a Bachelor’s of Science and a Masters of Arts, both in Sociology, from Kansas State University.
