Zun Tang is the Assistant Dean of Institutional Research in the Office of Applied Research, Evaluation, and Data Analytics (OAREDA) at the City University of New York (CUNY). He leads the University’s institutional research enterprise, overseeing mandatory reporting to federal, state, and city agencies; supporting strategic planning and performance management efforts; partnering with system and college leaders to establish key performance indicator targets and monitor progress; and delivering research and analytics that inform policy and decision-making across the system. His work focuses on using data to strengthen institutional effectiveness, support leadership strategy, and advance student access across a large and complex public university system.
