Session Abstract: Emory University’s first-year survey series, embedded in ECS 101, provides actionable insights that enhance student success and retention. Developed through collaboration among the Office of Undergraduate Education, Campus Life, and Institutional Research & Decision Support, the series captures student experiences at critical points and generates “flags” that prompt timely advisor outreach. By linking survey results with enrollment data, Emory evaluates outcomes, refines strategies, and ensures that interventions are both responsive and impactful. This session will share survey design, collaborative practices, and results, offering participants a scalable framework for building data-informed student support initiatives
