Elisabeth Lackner, PhD

Dr. Elisabeth Lackner has over 25 years of experience in higher education, including 14 years as Director of Institutional Research and Assessment. She has led grant-funded research focused on student support initiatives and has presented her findings at national conferences, including a previous AIR Forum.
Currently, Dr. Lackner chairs the Data Governance Committee at Queensborough Community College, where she also serves on the Extended Cabinet and the Steering Committee for the MSCHE Self-Study. In these roles, she leads teams of people, collaborates with stakeholders, and presents research findings and trend analyses to a diverse group of constituencies.
Dr. Lackner holds a Ph.D. in Sociology and has published her research on higher education in peer-reviewed journals.
